Prayer Meeting.

Alright! I went for evening prayer meeting with Xin yesterday. It was led by Brother Darren. It was a pretty good session as we spent time to thank God for our workplace, family and CG. It was kinda like back to the olden days of sitting on the floor praying. Not a bad start for me.

This morning, I woke up at 6.15am and got ready for morning prayer meeting at Singpost. I was surprised and happy to see Pastor Tan. He is such a gentle pastor and I was really comfortable praying for whomever that comes to my mind. And when he worships in the spirit.. Wooo! Of course I'm worshiping God and not Pastor Tan. But sometimes if the person praying is too loud or not in sync with the music, I'm pretty distracted and frustrated to continue. 1 minute would then seemed like 1 hour. I really enjoyed this morning's prayer meeting. Gonna go again on Wed and Thurs before I leave Singapore. Hopefully it's still Pastor Tan.

Pastor Tan shared with us Habakkuk 2:2-3.
2 Then the LORD answered me and said:
“ Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
Because it will surely come,
It will not tarry.

He reminded us that sometimes when we pray, we want God to quickly answer our prayers. We get disappointed and angry if He doesn't. If God really answers all our prayers immediately, then the world will be in chaos and it will be according to our carnal flesh and we will succumb to our carnal flesh easily. That's why it takes time (an appointed time) before our prayers will come to past. As we continue to pray, we will yield more and more to His will rather than our carnal flesh. That's when the appointed time will come and God answers our prayers. So we just got to keep praying and believing in faith that He will bring our vision to past according to His timing and His will.

I've made a personal pledge and vow to God today. Prayerfully I'll be able to breakthrough this stagnant stage and be happy serving again!
